Visit Redding Town Hall to pick up and complete your voter registration form. Or, download registration forms at the State of Connecticut Web site.
When complete, drop in the mail to the Registrar at Redding Town Hall (address at right).

HOW TO change your party affiliation:
E-mail the Town Democratic Registrar (see right) or phone her at 203-938-5012 during office hours.
HOW TO file an absentee ballot:
Absentee balloting is available for those individuals who cannot vote in person for one of the following reasons: active service in the armed forces; absence from town during all hours of the referendum; physical disability; illness; or religious tenets. To use this option, follow these steps:

1. An Application for Absentee Ballot for Referendum Authorized to be Held with Less Than 3 Weeks Notice – Form ED-3R, can be downloaded at www.sots.ct.gov. Click on “Download Forms”, then “Election Forms”, and then scroll down to “English Language Application Form for Referendums Only”.
2. A completed and signed application-for-ballot must be delivered to the Town Clerk’s Office in Town Hall, at which time the ballot will be given to the applicant or the applicant’s designee.
3. Once the ballot is complete, it may be hand-delivered or mailed to the Redding Town Clerk's office at Town Hall (see address at left).
4. If the applicant is unable to come in person, he or she can designate a member of their family to pick up their ballot and return it to the Town Clerk. (An application-for-ballot must still first be completed and delivered to the Town Clerk with a designation of a family member to hand-carry the ballot.)
