Reddingites join fight for healthcare reform

(Aug. 7, 2008) Several concerned members of the Redding Democratic Town Committee have also signed on to work with a national group focused on solutions for healthcare in our country.

Reddingites Gil Lancaster, Kim Yonkers, Tina Miller, Jill Kotch, Peggy Zamore and Bob Moran have joined Healthcare Professionals for Healthcare Reform, a group "dedicated to creating basic universal healthcare that will advance the health of the entire United States population in an affordable, streamlined method."

"We think [HPHR] may offer a substantive solution to the political and economic problems that plague the many healthcare reform plans now being proposed," Lancaster says.
